Biacna Topical Gel (Clindamycin Phosphate 1.2^ w/w /Tretinoin 0.025% w/w) is a new topical acne gel used for the treatment of acne vulgaris. This medication helps to decrease the number and severity of acne pimples and helps pimples that do develop to heal quickly. Tretinoin belongs to a class of medications called retinoids and it works by affecting the growth of skin cells. Clindamycin is an antibiotic that stops the growth of bacteria that cause acne. It may take several weeks to months before you see an improvement in your acne.

Side Effects and Precautions

The common side effects of Biacna topical gel may include headache, sinus infections, skin irritation due to dryness, sunburn, and temporary change in skin colour. Seek emergency medical attention if you have any signs of an allergic reaction. Call your doctor right away if you have any of the serious side effects such as:
• Blistered or crusted skin, red or swollen;
• Bloating, pain or severe abdominal cramps;
