Sular Information
Sular (Nisoldipine) is used with or without other medications to treat hypertension (high blood pressure. Nisoldipine belongs to the class of drugs called calcium channel blockers. It works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. You may help prevent strokes, heart attacks and kidney problems by lowering high blood pressure. Sular is usually taken once daily or as directed by your doctor.
The common side effects of Sular tablets may include dizziness, flushing, headache and swelling ankles or feet. Inform your doctor if you have any serious side effects such as fast or irregular heartbeat, fainting or vision changes. Talk to your doctor about your allergies and medical history before you start taking this medication. Sular may make you dizzy. Use precaution when driving or using machinery. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
