Indications

Prinivil is an anti-hypertensive medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

Lisinopril is an angiotensin converting enzyme that lowers total peripheral resistance to reduce arterial pressure and promotes cardiac contractions. The medication also helps stop and regress left ventricular hypertrophy as well as improving renal blood flow. All these actions allow Prinivil to treat hypertension and support your heart health.

This blood pressure medication is an effective treatment for hypertension that lowers both systolic and diastolic blood pressure better than hydrochlorothiazide and as well as other medications like atenolol or metoprolol. Prinivil is generally well-tolerated and has a low incidence of adverse events similar to other anti-hypertensive medications.
