Warnings

Patient Family Information
- Follow your doctor’s recommendations closely and do not take larger doses than prescribed.
- Chew the gum like regular chewing gum but stop once you start feeling a tingling sensation or pepper-like taste.
- Once the feeling or taste occurs, keep the gum between your cheek and gum until the tingling sensation dissipates.
- After that, resume chewing until the taste or sensation returns and place it on the other side of your mouth.
- Do not chew too fast as it may release too much nicotine and cause stomach issues, hiccups, or nausea.
- After 30 minutes, remove the gum or when the sensation or taste no longer returns.
- After chewing the gum, do not eat or drink for 15 minutes.
Contraindication
Do not use Nicorette Mint if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breast feeding.
