Boniva is a prescription medication that is used in the treatment for osteoporosis in women after they experience menopause. Boniva helps the user by reversing bone loss in most women, even though they may not be able to see or feel a difference. Because of the way the hormones in your body are affected after menopause, your bones can weaken and suffer from a very rapid loss of calcium. Boniva is specially created to significantly lower the activity of the cells that cause bone loss after menopause. Boniva helps to slow or even stop the natural processes that are ultimately the ones responsible for the dissolving of bone tissue. Boniva works by binding with your bones and staying attached throughout the month.
