Usage

Amaryl M (Glimepiride/Metformin) is a prescription medication used to control blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes occurs when the body does not use insulin properly. Glimepiride belongs to a class of medications called sulfonylureas. It works by causing the pancreas to produce more insulin and uses the insulin efficiently to lower blood sugar.
