Indications

Cetrotide is a medication used in fertility treatments to prevent premature ovulation, and it works by inhibiting the production of luteinizing hormone (LH) in women undergoing controlled ovarian stimulation.

Cetrotide is given as a subcutaneous injection into the lower abdominal wall and may cause injection site reactions which can be minimized by rotating the injection sites.
