Riomet Oral Solution (Metformin) is a prescription medication used to maintain the optimum glucose level in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Metformin can also be used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults and children (10 years and above) with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The active ingredient in Riomet Oral solution is Metformin Hydrochloride. Metformin Hydrochloride belongs to the class of medication called biguanides.
