Saphris Details (Brand and Generic)

Our Canadian pharmacy offers Saphris at very competitive prices. We currently have the brand Saphris from Canada manufactured by Lundbeck. The generic Asenapine is not available.

Dosage

Saphris is available in the strength of 5 mg and 10 mg sublingual tablets.

Usage

Saphris (Asenapine) is a prescription medication used to treat bipolar disorder and schizophrenia in adults. Saphris is also indicated to treat bipolar disorder in children who are 10 years old. The active ingredient is asenapine, an atypical antipsychotic. It works by changing the actions of chemicals in the brain. Taking Saphris may help you to manage some of your manic symptoms by affecting the chemicals in the brain that have become imbalanced, which is the main cause of illnesses. Saphris can be used alone or in combination with lithium. Saphris should not be used to treat mental illnesses in adult patients who have dementia. Our Canadian pharmacy also carries Abilify and Seroquel.

Side Effects

The possible Saphris side effects include constipation, dry mouth, dizziness, drowsiness, numbness or tingling in or around the mouth, restlessness, sleep problems, upset stomach, or weight gain. Inform your doctor right away if you have any of the serious side effects such as:
