Dulera (Formoterol/Mometasone) is a medication that is inhaled to control and prevent asthma symptoms such as wheezing in people who are 12 years and older. Dulera Inhalers contain a combination of Formoterol fumarate and Mometasone furoate. Formoterol is a Long-acting ß2 adrenoreceptor agonist (LABA) that relaxes muscles in the airways to improve breathing. Mometasone furoate is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation. Dulera must be used regularly to be effective. It should not be used to relieve sudden asthma attacks. The common side effects of Dulera may include dry mouth, hoarseness, stuffy nose or throat irritation. The serious side effects may include:
