What is Lupron Depot?

Lupron Depot Kit, with the generic name leuprolide acetate, is a depot suspension kit used to manage endometriosis through the reduction of endometriotic lesions. It also helps reduce symptoms like abdominal bloating, pelvic pain, and heavy menstrual periods. This Kit is also used to treat fibroids and is usually given with iron to address anemia caused by heavy vaginal bleeding.

This gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist mainly inhibits gonadotropin secretion. Studies show that a certainperiod while on Lupron Depotresults in suppression of ovarian and testicular steroidogenesis. This is available in Lupron Depot 3.75 mg, 7.5 mg, 22.5 mg, 30 mg, and 45 mg injection kits.
