Indications

Dovobet ointment is a medication used for the treatment of stable plaque psoriasis vulgaris in adults who are likely to or have responded to topical therapy. It contains two active ingredients: calcipotriol and betamethasone. Calcipotriol helps to bring the rate of skin cell growth back to normal, while betamethasone acts to reduce inflammation.

Use and Dosage

The recommended dosage of Dovobet ointment is to apply a thin layer to the affected areas once daily. Avoid applying the ointment to healthy skin as it may irritate.

The duration of treatment with Dovobet ointment should be determined by a healthcare professional. Use the ointment for up to 4 weeks. If necessary, treatment can be continued for an additional 4 weeks, but the total duration of use should not exceed 8 weeks in a row.

Please consult with your healthcare professional for personalized advice regarding the use and dosage of Dovobet ointment.
