Cautions

- Before using Nidagel, tell your healthcare provider if you have ever had any of the following conditions:
- Nervous system disorders like seizures or numb or tingling hands or feet
- Liver disease
- Nidagel may cause you to become dizzy. Avoid drinking alcohol during treatment and for at least 24 hours after your last dose because it can worsen this effect and cause stomach cramps, flushing, nausea, vomiting, and headache.
- Do not drive or perform any hazardous tasks until you know how Nidagel will affect you because it can make you dizzy and impair your reactions.
- Do not have vaginal sex, use tampons, or use douches while using Nidagel.
- Use of Nidagel while menstruating is not recommended.
- Only use Nidagel if clearly needed while pregnant. Consult your healthcare provider before using if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Some drugs may interact with Nidagel and cause adverse reactions. Tell your healthcare provider about all the medications you take, including over the counter medicines, but especially any of the following:
- Disulfiram
- Medicines that contain alcohol
- Medications containing propylene glycol
- Do not use Nidagel if you have taken disulfiram within the last 2 weeks.
- Do not use any products that contain alcohol or propylene glycol during treatment and for at least 24 hours after your last dose of Nidagel.
