WHAT IS GLEEVEC USED FOR?

Gleevec (Imatinib) is used to treat types of cancer, including acute lymphoblastic leukemia, chronic myeloid leukemia, gastrointestinal stromal tumors, and myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative diseases. This is achieved by stopping the further growth of cancer cells. Gleevec can also treat immune system disorders, including aggressive systemic mastocytosis and hypereosinophilic syndrome.

Furthermore, new research indicates a new treatment for CML (chronic leukemia). CML Gleevec has transformed it into a manageable chronic disease for people taking it.

HOW TO TAKE GLEEVEC
