What is a Qvar inhaler?

• For children 5 to 11 years old who previously used bronchodilators alone, the starting dose is one puff (each puff contains 40 mcg of beclomethasone) every 12 hours or twice daily. The maximum dose is 80 mcg twice daily.

Qvar vs Flovent 

Qvar Inhaler and Flovent are both prescription medications used to control and prevent the symptoms of asthma (wheezing, shortness of breath, and cough) in adults and children who are at least 4 years old and older.
