Usage

Alrex (Loteprednol Etabonate) is a prescription eye drop used for temporary relief of seasonal allergy symptoms of the eyes such as swelling, redness, and itching. Loteprednol belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. This medication works by reducing inflammation in the eye. Alrex is also used to treat eye pain, redness, and swelling caused by certain eye problems or eye surgery.

The common side effects of Alrex include minor burning; blurred vision, dry or watery eyes, sensitivity to light, headache, runny nose, sore throat, or feeling like something is in your eye. The serious side effects may include:

• Sudden vision changes;
