Usage

The active ingredient in the Calcort tablet is Deflazacort. Deflazacort belongs to the group of medicine called corticosteroids. While this medication does not cure the disease, it can help slow the disease progression by improving muscle strength.

Warnings and Interactions

Deflazacort comes as a tablet and is to be taken by mouth. It is usually taken once a day with or without food. Take Deflazacort at around the same time every day. Do not take more or less of it or more often than your doctor prescribes it.
