Simbrinza Information:

Simbrinza (Brinzolamide/Brimonidine Tartrate Opthalmic Suspension) is a prescription medication used to treat high pressure in the eye. Simbrinza is a combination of two medications: Brinzolamide and Brimonidine. Brinzolamide belongs to a class of medications known as carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. Brimonidine belongs to a class of medications known as alpha agonists. Both medications work together by reducing the amount of fluid in the eye and by increasing the flow of fluid out of the eye caused by glaucoma and other eye diseases (ocular hypertension) to reduce inflammation and swelling in the eye. Do not take this medication if you are allergic. Talk to your doctor if you have a medical history of blood vessel diseases (thromboangiitis obliterans), blood circulation disorders (cerebral/ coronary insufficiency), depression, heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, Raynaud’s disease or suffer from low blood pressure upon standing (orthostatic hypotension). Take this medication as directed by your doctor. Consult your doctor for any possible side effects and precautions. If you experience any serious side effects, contact your doctor immediately.
