Indications

Tarceva is a cancer medication used to treat locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and, when combined with gemcitabine, pancreatic cancer that is locally advanced, not removable through surgery, or metastatic.

Erlotinib is a human epidermal growth factor receptor type 1/epidermal growth factor receptor (HER1/EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor with antitumour properties. By inhibiting this receptor, Tarceva interferes with the growth and spread of cancer cells in your body.

Dosage and Administration

The dose of Tarceva that is prescribed will vary depending on the individual, type of cancer, and severity of the cancer being treated. Follow all your healthcare provider’s instructions and read packaging labels carefully to ensure the best response during treatment. Do not make any changes to your dose on your own.

  • Swallow tablets whole
