• Difficulty breathing;
• Hives;
• Swelling of your face, lips, tongue or throat

Stop taking Forxiga and call your doctor at once if you have one of these serious side effects:

• Little or no urination
• Signs of bladder infection
• Signs of dehydration
• Signs of genital infection (penis or vagina)
• Signs of Ketoacidosis (too much acid in the blood)

Less serious side effects of Dapagliflozin Propanediol Monohydrate may include genital yeast infections, urinating more frequently, sore throat, or stuffy nose.

You should not take Forxiga if you are allergic to Dapagliflozin Propanediol Monohydrate or you have active bladder cancer, severe kidney disease (or are on dialysis), or diabetic ketoacidosis. Blood sugar control is important when you’re pregnant. You shouldn’t take Forxiga while pregnant or nursing without discussing the risks with your doctor—especially during the second and third trimester of pregnancy. There may be an interaction between Forxiga and other medications, some of which include: other oral diabetes medications, or diuretics. Talk to your doctor about any medications or herbal supplements you are currently taking. This medication is not approved for anyone under the age of 18.
