Usage

Creon (Pancrelipase) Minimicrospheres is used for people who are unable to digest food normally because their pancreas does not make enough digestive enzymes. This condition can be due to cystic fibrosis, chronic pancreatitis, pancreatectomy, etc. Creon is a combination of three enzymes, lipase, protease and amylase. These are the enzymes that are normally produced by the pancreas to break down and digest fats, starch and proteins in food. This medication replaces these enzymes when the body does not make enough of its own.
