Cortiment ER (Budesonide ER Tablet) is a prescription medication used to treat mild-to-moderate Crohn's disease (an inflammatory bowel disease). The active ingredient in Cortiment ER is Budesonide. It works by decreasing inflammation in the intestine and colon of people with inflammatory conditions such as Crohn's disease. It may also be used for other purposes not mentioned in this guide.

• Osteoporosis (bone disorder)
