Calan SR (Verapamil SR) is a prescription medication used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and severe chest pain (angina). Verapamil is also used to control heart rates in a patient with a fast and irregular heartbeat (such as atrial fibrillation). The active ingredient in Calan SR is Verapamil.
