Usage

Vimovo (Naproxen/Esomeprazole) is a combination prescription medicine used to treat the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis and to decrease the risk of developing stomach ulcers for people at risk due to NSAIDs. Vimovo is a combination of two drugs, Esomeprazole and Naproxen. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor and reduces stomach pain by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Naproxen belongs to the NSAIDs class of medications, and it works by blocking substances causing inflammation, fevers, and pain.
