Zaditen Information
Zaditen (Ketotifen) is a prescription medication used in combination with other medications to treat mild allergic asthma in children. Ketotifen belongs to the class of medications called antiallergics and asthma prophylactics. It is used to help prevent asthma attacks and allergic conditions such as rhinitis. This medication works by reducing the body's response to allergens. Zaditen should be used regularly and is not effective in the acute prevention or treatment of acute asthma attacks.
