Indications

Ansaid is a pain reliever used to reduce symptoms of arthritis including swelling, stiffness, and joint pain.

Flurbiprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits your body’s inflammatory response to reduce pain caused by swelling. The medicine also offers analgesic effects which reduce painful sensations. These actions allow Ansaid to relieve joint pain associated with arthritis as well as swelling and stiffness.

The dose of Ansaid that is prescribed will vary depending on the individual and severity of arthritis being treated. Follow all your healthcare provider’s directions for use and read packaging instructions to ensure the best results. Do not take a higher dose than prescribed or for any longer than recommended.

  • Take with a full glass of water
  • If stomach upset occurs take your doses with food, milk, or an antacid

Ansaid can be taken with or without food with minimal impact on the medication’s effectiveness.
