What is Livalo 

Livalo is the brand name of Pitavastatin and it belongs to a class of medication called HMG CoA reductase inhibitors, or statins.

• Livalo 1mg is the recommended initial dosage for patients with moderate to severe renal damage and those with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). It may be adjusted to 2 mg once daily only and should not exceed this dosage. If a patient will start on this medication treatment and currently taking erythromycin,
