Reactions to Denavir Cream are quite rare. The most common side effects of Denavir use are headache, hives, itching, rash, irritation, numbness, tingling, skin reaction or swelling, taste or smell alteration. If any develop or change in intensity, inform your doctor immediately.
Do NOT use Denavir medication if you are allergic to Penciclovir or any of the ingredients in Denavir cream. Do NOT use other topical medications to treat the same area at the same time as Denavir herpes, unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Denavir Penciclovir cream should be applied externally on the lips and face every 2 hours, while awake, for 4 days. Do NOT apply Penciclovir topical to the inside of the nose or in or near the eyes, as it may cause irritation. No interactions with Denavir cream have been reported.
