Usage

Lancora (Ivabradine) is a prescription medication used to treat stable, chronic heart failure in patients who have a heart rate of 77 or more beats per minute. Lancora contains the active ingredient Ivabradine, which is in a class of medications called hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated (HCN) channel blockers. It works by slowing the heart rate and allowing more blood to flow to the myocardium. It is intended to reduce the hospitalization and death rate due to heart diseases in patients with worsening heart failure. Clinical studies have shown that addition of Lancora to a standard treatment plan can prolong the life and reduce hospitalization of heart patients.

Side Effects and Precautions

The common side effects of Lancora may include dizziness due to a very slow heart rate, abdominal pain, cold fingers and toes, constipation, diarrhea, headache, nausea, tiredness and weakness. Stop using Lancora and contact your doctor at once if you have any serious side effects such as:
