Precautions

For oral syrup or drops, measure your dose accurately with the special spoon or medicine cup. Do not use a regular table spoon.

To prevent tooth staining, mix the liquid with water or juice (not milk) and drink through a straw. If staining occurs, clean your teeth with baking soda 1x per week.

Do not consume antacids or antibiotics within 2 hours before or after taking Palafer.

Store at room temperature, away from heat and moisture.

There can be interactions between Palafer and other medications. Talk to your doctor before you use other medications while on Palafer.

An overdose of Palafer can be fatal. If you suspect an overdose of this medicine, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms include: nausea, severe stomach pain, bloody diarrhea, coughing up blood, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, shallow breathing, weak or rapid pulse, pale skin, blue lips, and seizures.
