Sinequan (Doxepin) belongs to a group of medications called tricyclic antidepressants. It is used to treat mental or mood disorders such as depression and anxiety associated with alcoholism, manic depression, or other mental illness. This medication acts on the norepinephrine and serotonin receptors in the axon terminals and blocks them. Sinequan may help improve your mood, provide a better sleep, relieve anxiety, or tension, and increase energy levels.

Canadian Pharmacy King currently offers the brand Sinequan (Doxepin) from Canada manufactured by AA Pharma. The generic Doxepin comes from India also called Doxin manufactured by Intas.
Common side effects of Sinequan may include decreased or increased sex drive; drowsiness or dizziness; dry mouth; increased blood pressure; little or no urination; nausea, vomiting or indigestion; rash or swelling; and vision changes.
Call your doctor immediately if you notice severe side effects such as:
• Confusion, hallucinations or seizures;
• Eye pain or swelling, changes in vision;
• Feeling like you might pass out, light-headed;
• Painful or difficult urination;
• Restless muscle movements in your eyes, tongue, jaw, or neck, tremors;
• Severe constipation
This is not a complete list of side effects, and others may occur. Contact your doctor if any of these side effects worsen or persist.
Do not use Sinequan if you are allergic to Doxepin or similar medications such as amoxapine or loxapine, or if you have glaucoma, or urination problems. You should not use Doxepin if you have used an MAO inhibitor in the past 14 days. Before you start using this medication, tell your doctor if you have used an SSRI antidepressant in the past 5 weeks and if you have ever had bipolar depression. Avoid alcohol and do not drive or do any hazardous activity until you know how this medication will affect you. Tell your doctor about all the medications you are taking including prescription, OTC, vitamins and herbal products. There may be a drug interaction between Doxepin and other medications. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Doxepin is not approved for use by anyone younger than 12 years old.
