Product Details

Neupro is a prescription medication which is used to treat Parkinson’s Disease (PD) and primary restless leg syndrome (RLS). It is a patch worn on skin. The safety and efficacy of Neupro are not known in children. Neupro is available as a transdermal patch available in the doses of 1mg/24-hour, 2mg/24-hour, 3 mg/24-hour, 4 mg/24-hour, 6 mg/24-hour and 8 mg/24-hour. Some less serious side effects of Neupro may include nausea, vomiting, sleepiness, application site reactions, dizziness, loss of appetite, difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep, increased sweating, vision problems, leg swelling. Stop using Neupro and contact your doctor at once if you have a serious side effect such as:

• Changes in blood pressure
• Changes in heart rate
• Fainting
• Falling asleep during normal activities
• Increased weight and fluid retention
• Serious allergic reaction
• Skin site reactions
• Uncontrolled sudden movements and unusual urges

Use Neupro exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Apply Neupro Patch one time daily at the same time each day. You may bathe, shower, or swim while wearing a Neupro patch. Water may loosen your Neupro patch. If your Neupro patch falls off, apply a new Neupro patch for the rest of the day. The next day, apply a new patch at your regular time. Do not use Neupro if you are allergic to rotigotine. Before taking Neupro, consult your doctor if you have breathing problems including asthma, daytime sleepiness from a sleep disorder or have unexpected sleepiness or periods of sleep, mental problems such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or psychosis, feel dizziness, nausea, sweating or fainting while standing up from sitting or lying position, drink alcohol, have high or low blood pressure, heart problems, are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Neupro may interact with other medicines such as antipsychotics, sleep medications and antidepressants.
