Viread (Generic name: Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate) is an anti-HIV medication used to treat HIV and and chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV, a type of liver infection). Viread may be used in combination with other antiretroviral drugs for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults and children 2 years and older.
