Indications 

Vesicare (generic: solifenacin) is an oral prescription drug used to treat an overactive bladder. It relieves bladder symptoms, such as urinary frequency, urinary urgency, and urinary incontinence.  

Vesicare Dosage 

This is available in Vesicare 5 mg and 10 mg tablets. 

Vesicare Mechanism of Action 

This antagonizes the M3 receptor, which prevents the contraction of the detrusor muscle. It also antagonizes the M2 receptor in order to prevent the contraction of the smooth muscle in the bladder. It is known to have the highest affinity to M1, M2, and M3 muscarinic receptors. 

How to Take Vesicare
