Vivelle Dot Side Effects
The most common Vivelle Dot side effects are back pain, breast tenderness, dizziness, fluid retention, headache, nausea, and etc. If you are experiencing any severe side effects such as breast lumps, chest pain, confusion, depression, jaundice, numbness, vision changes, unusual vaginal bleeding, and serious allergic reaction (e.g., difficult breathing; hives; rash; swelling), please inform your doctor immediately.
Vivelle Dot Precautions
Do NOT use Vivelle Dot if you are allergic to Estradiol or Estrogen. Do NOT use Vivelle Dot if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Before using Vivelle Dot, tell your doctor if you have had any medical conditions such as asthma, blood clots, cancers, diabetes, epilepsy, gallbladder disease, high level of calcium, liver or kidney problems, migraine, stroke or heart attack, unusual vaginal bleeding and etc. Tell your doctor about all the prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications you use. They may interact with Vivelle Dot, especially of: corticosteroids, hydantoins, and warfarin.
