Enablex Details (Brand and Generic)

CanadaPharmacyOnline.com offers the brand Enablex from Turkey (also known as Emselex) and Australia by Novartis and from Canada by Methapharm. The generic Darifenacin comes from India also called Darilong by Sun Pharma and Vesigard by Cipla.

Dosage

Enablex is available in the strength of 7.5 mg and 15 mg tablets. The generic Darifenacin comes in the strength of 7.5 mg tablets only.

Usage

Enablex (Darifenacin) is a prescription medication used to treat an overactive bladder such as incontinence or a frequent need to urinate. Darifenacin belongs to the class of drugs known as antispasmodics. This medication works by relaxing the muscles in the bladder, improving your ability to control your urination. This medication helps to reduce urine leaks, feelings of needing to urinate right away, and frequent trips to the bathroom.

Side Effects and Precautions

Stop using the medication and get medical care if you have an allergic reaction. Signs of an allergic reaction may include difficulty breathing, hives (rash on your body), swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat—If you experience any of these symptoms, please call 911 or seek emergency medical care at the nearest emergency room (ER).

The common side effects of Enablex may include blurred vision, constipation, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, and nausea. Stop using Enablex and call your doctor right away if you have any signs of an allergic reaction or any of the serious side effects such as:
• Confusion or hallucinations;
• Constipation or severe stomach pain;
• Little or no urinating;
• Pain or burning when you urinate;
• Signs of dehydration: feeling very hot, dry and hot skin, excessive sweating

If you still have questions about side effects we always suggest further conversations with your doctor.

Warnings and Interactions

Do not take Enablex if you are allergic to Darifenacin, or if you have:
• A stomach disorder that causes delayed emptying of the stomach;
• If you have trouble emptying your bladder;
• Untreated or uncontrolled narrow-angle glaucoma

Before you start taking Enablex, talk to your doctor about your medical history especially if you have:
• A blockage in your stomach or intestines;
• A muscle disorder such as myasthenia gravis;
• Glaucoma;
• If you have very little urine or a weak stream of urine;
• Liver disease;
• Ulcerative colitis

Enablex may cause blurred vision and may impair your thinking or reactions. Avoid any activity that requires you to be alert and have a clear vision. It can also decrease perspiration and make you more prone to heat stroke. Avoid becoming overheated or dehydrated during exercise or hot weather. Inform your doctor or pharmacist about all the medications you are taking, including prescription medications, over-the-counter products, herbal supplements and vitamins. There may be a drug interaction between Darifenacin and other medications such as antifungal medications, antidepressants, clarithromycin, flecainide, HIV or AIDS medication, thioridazine, etc. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
