The active ingredients in Alka-Seltzer are Acetylsalicylic Acid, Citric Acid, and Sodium Bicarbonate. Acetylsalicylic Acid (Aspirin) belongs to a group of medicines known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS). It reduces pain and fever and has anti-inflammatory properties.
