Side Effects

The common side effects of Dymista may include a change in sense of taste or smell, crusting in the nose, drowsiness, dry or soreness inside the nose, headache, nose bleeds, and runny nose. The serious side effects may include:

Warnings and Interactions

Do not take Dymista Nasal Spray if you are allergic to Azelastine or Fluticasone. Avoid getting Dymista in your eyes or mouth. If sprayed in the eyes, rinse with water at least 10 minutes and then call your doctor. Before taking this medication, talk to your doctor if you have:
• An injury of or surgery on your nose;
• Chickenpox or measles;
• glaucoma or cataracts;
• Herpes infection of your eyes;
• Sores or ulcers inside your nose;
• Tuberculosis or any other infection or illness; Talk to your doctor about the medications he takes including OTC and herbal medications. There may be an interaction between Fluticasone-Azelastine and other medications such as alcohol, antihistamines, aripiprazole, azelastine, baclofen, benztropine, betahistine, brimonidine, buspirone, cobicistat, donepezil, galantamine, mirabegron, pramipexole, ropinirole, etc. This medication should not be used during pregnancy unless it is clearly needed. It is unknown if this medication passes into breast milk. Talk to your doctor before breast-feeding a baby. Dymista Nasal Spray should not be used in children who are 12 years younger.
