Get medical help immediately if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction while taking Thyroid
• Difficulty breathing;
• Hives;
• Swelling of your face, lips, tongue or throat
Stop taking Thyroid and call your doctor at once if you have one of these serious side effects:
• Extreme or violent diarrhea;
• Insomnia;
• Palpitations;
• Tachycardia;
• Cardiac arrhythmias;
• Angina pectoris
Less serious side effects of Thyroid may include hair loss, nervousness, tremors, headache, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, sweating, heat intolerance, fever, or weight loss.

Thyroid should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. Talk to your doctor about your medical history to be sure you can safely take Thyroid. Particularly if you have a history of increased thyroid hormones, decreased adrenal gland function, heart disease, high blood pressure, or diabetes. Thyroid can be used during pregnancy, though talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or become pregnant. It does pass into breastmilk but is not expected to harm the baby. There may be an interaction between Thyroid and other medications. Talk with your doctor about all of the medications and supplements you may be taking to see if there are any interactions you need to be aware of with Thyroid.
