Thyroid is in a group of drugs called exogenous thyroid hormones. Thyroid (Thyroid) is used as a replacement therapy when there is decreased or absent thyroid function in people with hypothyroidism. It works by increasing/replacing the level of thyroid hormone in the body. The usual recommended start dose is 30 mg

• Insomnia;
• Palpitations;
• Tachycardia;
• Cardiac arrhythmias;
• Angina pectoris

Less serious side effects of Thyroid may include hair loss, nervousness, tremors, headache, diarrhea, abdominal cramps, sweating, heat intolerance, fever, or weight loss.

Thyroid should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. Talk to your doctor about your medical history to be sure you can safely take Thyroid.
