Serc Information

Serc (Generic name: Betahistine Hydrochloride) is a prescription drug used to treat Vertigo, and conditions associated with Ménière's disease. Betahistine Hydrochloride works by improving blood flow in the inner ear that brings down the build-up of pressure. It is this pressure in the ear which is thought to cause the vertigo (dizziness), tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and hearing loss suffered by people with Meniere’s disease. Betahistine is an anti-vertigo drug used in the management of Ménière's syndrome. Take Betahistine Serc exactly as it was prescribed for you.

Serc Side Effects

The most common Serc side effects are headache, nausea, skin rash and stomach upset. If you are experiencing any severe side effects or serious allergic reaction (e.g., difficult breathing; hives; itches; swelling), please inform your doctor immediately.

Serc Precautions

Do NOT take Serc if you are allergic to Betahistine or any of the ingredients in Serc medication.
