DuoTrav Details (Brand and Generic)

CanadaPharmacyOnline.com offers the brand DuoTrav Eye Drops from Canada by Novartis and from India also called Travacom by Alcon. The generic Travoprost 0.004%/Timolol Maleate 0.05% eye drops comes from Canada by a different manufacturer. Both the brand DuoTrav and generic Travoprost/Timolol Maleate is BAK free.

Dosage

DuoTrav eye drops and generic Travoprost/Timolol Maleate is available in the strength of 0.004%/0.05% eye drops.

Usage

DuoTrav eye drops (Travoprost/Timolol Maleate) is a prescription medication used to lower pressure in the eye and to treat glaucoma. This medication is used in adults with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It is used in patients who do not respond sufficiently to eye drops containing beta-blockers or prostaglandin analogues. DuoTrav is a combination of two medications, Travoprost and Timolol. Travoprost belongs to the class of medications called prostaglandin analogues. Timolol belongs to the class of medications called beta-adrenergic receptor blockers. Travoprost/Timolol works by reducing the amount of fluid produced by the eye and by increasing the flow of fluid out of the eye.
