Usage

Zanaflex (Tizanidine) is a prescription medicine used to treat muscle spasticity due to spinal cord injury or multiple sclerosis. The active ingredient in Zanaflex is Tizanidine. Tizanidine belongs to the group of medicine called skeletal muscle relaxants (alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonists). It works by slowing down nerves in your spinal column that control muscle tone. When those nerves slow down, your muscles relax.

The common side effects of Zanaflex are nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, constipation, somnolence, blurred vision, dizziness, and frequent urination.
