If you are experiencing any severe side effects such as bruising, irregular heartbeat, seizures, symptoms of depression or liver problem, tremor, unusual bleeding, visual hallucinations, worsening asthma symptoms, or signs of a severe allergic reaction (e.g., hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of the lips, mouth, tongue, or throat), please inform your doctor immediately.
Singulair Precautions
Do NOT use Singulair medication to treat an asthma attack that has already begun. Do NOT take Singulair if you are allergic to Montelukast or aspirin, or if you have a liver disease. Tell your doctor about all the prescriptions or over-the-counter (OTC) medications you use. They may interact with Singulair drug, especially of: phenobarbital (Luminal, Solfoton), rifampin (Rifadin, Rifater, Rifamate, Rimactane).
