Lidoderm Patch (Lidocaine) is used to relieve the pain of post-herpetic neuralgia such as burning, stabbing pains or post-shingles pain. Lidocaine belongs to a class of drugs known as local anesthetics. This patch works by causing a temporary loss of feeling in the area where it is applied. Apply Lidoderm to intact skin with no blisters.
