Diprosalic (Betamethasone dipropionate/Salicylic acid) is a prescription medication used to treat skin and scalp conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. The drug reduces itchiness and redness resulting from these skin conditions. Exposure to harsh soaps, air pollutants, smoke, and some skincare products are common triggers for eczema and dermatitis. The active ingredients in Diprosalic are Betamethasone dipropionate and Salicylic acid. Betamethasone dipropionate belongs to a class of drugs called corticosteroids. It works by reducing itching and inflammation. Salicylic acid belongs to a class of drugs called keratolytics. It works by breaking down dead skin cells, allowing the Betamethasone dipropionate to reach underneath the skin and heal it. Diprosalic improves skin condition within a week.
