Altace Information

Drug name: Altace, Cardace, Delix
Generic name: Ramipril
Use: High blood pressure, congestive heart failure and improve survival after heart attack.

Altace is used for the treatment of hypertension, which is also known as high blood pressure. Altace is also directed to treat congestive heart failure, and for patients who have suffered a heart attack in order to increase their chances of survival. Altace contains the active ingredient Ramipril which is an angiotension coverting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. ACE inhibitors such as Ramipril lower blood pressure by reducing the production of angiotensin II, thereby relaxing the muscles in the arteries and enlarging arteries. This subsequently helps the blood to flow more easily reducing blood pressure and putting less pressure on the heart. We currently have brand Sanofi Aventis Altace and generic Ramipril in stock, the dosage ranges from 1.25 mg to 10 mg. Call us at 1-866-920-3784 (toll-free) or email us.
