Trusopt Ophthalmic Drops Details (Brand and Generic)

Canada Pharmacy Online carries a wide selection of brand and generic glaucoma medications online. You can purchase Trusopt brand version and generic Dorzolamide ophthalmic drops through our online Canadian and International pharmacy. We currently have the brand Trusopt from Canada by Elvium Life Sciences. The generic comes from India also called Dorzox manufactured by Cipla and from Canada by a different manufacturer. We also carry other glaucoma medications such as Cosopt and Lumigan.

Dosage

Trusopt and the generic Dorzolamide is available in the strength of 2%/5 ml Ophthalmic drops.

Usage

Trusopt ophthalmic drops (Dorzolamide) are used for the treatment of open-angle glaucoma and other causes of high pressure inside the eye. Dorzolamide belongs to a class of drugs called carbonic anhydrase inhibitors which also includes Azopt drops. Carbonic anhydrase controls the secretion which reduces the amount of fluid within the eye that causes high pressure in the eye. This medication works by decreasing the amount of fluid in the eye which lowers the eye pressure.
