Tudorza Pressair is in a group of drugs called bronchodilators. Tudorza Pressair (Aclidinium Bromide) is used to prevent bronchospasm in adults with chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or other forms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It is a preventative inhaler and will not work fast enough to treat a bronchospasm attack. Be sure to have a fast-acting inhaler on hand as well. It works by relaxing the airways and keeping your lungs open over time. The usual recommended start dose is the 400 mcg/60 dose inhaler.

The brand Tudorza Pressair is manufactured by AstraZeneca and is distributed out of Canada. A generic equivalent is not currently available. Tudorza Pressair is available in a 400 mcg/60 dose inhaler.
Get medical help immediately if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction while taking Aclidinium Bromide.
• Difficulty breathing;
• Hives;
• Swelling of your face, lips, tongue or throat
Stop taking Tudorza Pressair and call your doctor at once if you have one of these serious side effects:
• Wheezing, choking, or other breathing problems after use;
• Blurred vision;
• Nausea or vomiting;
• Eye pain or redness, or seeing halos or bright colors around lights;
• Increased or painful urination;
• Little to no urination;
• Worsening or no improvement of symptoms
Less serious side effects of Aclidinium Bromide may include stuffy nose, sore throat, sinus pain, cough, or headache.

Tudorza Pressair should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. Talk to your doctor about your medical history to be sure you can safely take Tudorza Pressair. Particularly if you have a history of an allergy to aclidinium or milk proteins, or if you have narrow-angle glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, or bladder obstruction/other urination problems. It is not known if Tudorza Pressair will harm an unborn or nursing baby. Talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits of using it while pregnant or nursing. Do not get this medication in your eyes. There may be an interaction between Tudorza Pressair and other medications such as bladder or urinary medications, other bronchodilators, cold or allergy medications contatining an antihistamine, medications for Parkinson’s disease, or drugs that treat excess stomach acid, motion sickness, or IBS, etc. If you are taking any of these medications, speak to your doctor. This medication is not approved for anyone younger than 18 years old.
