Medrol (Methylprednisolone) is a prescription that is used for the treatment of many different inflammatory conditions such as arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, ulcerative colitis, allergic disorders, gland disorders and other conditions that affect the skin, eyes, lungs, stomach, nervous system or blood cells. It may also be used with other medications in hormone disorders. Methylprednisolone belongs to a class of drugs called glucocorticoids. This medication works by reducing inflammation and changing your body’s immune response. Take this medication by mouth as directed by your doctor.

Talk to your doctor before breast-feeding.
