Acular LS (Ketorolac) is used to relieve eye itching caused by seasonal allergic conjunctivitis (an allergy that occurs at only certain times of the year). Acular LS can also be used to reduce swelling, pain, burning, or stinging after cataract surgery or corneal refractive surgery. Acular LS may also be used for purposes not listed above. Ketorolac belongs to a class of medications called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and works by blocking the effects of the enzymes cyclooxygenase COX-1 and COX-2, both of which cause inflammation and pain.

Canadian Pharmacy King currently offers the brand Acular LS Eye Drops from Canada, India and Turkey manufactured by Allergan in the strength of 0.4 %/5 ml eye drops. The generic version is not available.
Common side effects of Acular LS may include mild eye pain, stinging or redness, blurred vision, watery eyes, swollen or puffy eyes, or headache.
Contact your doctor immediately if you notice more serious side effects such as:
• A wound that will not heal;
• Crusting or drainage from your eyes;
• Eye pain, redness, or watering;
• Severe burning, stinging, or itching of your eyes;
• Vision changes, increased sensitivity to light;
• White patches on your eyes
While applying this medication, your eyes may sting or burn for a short time. This is to be expected, and is not harmful.

You should not use Acular LS if you are allergic to ketorolac, or if you are allergic to other NSAIDs, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, celecoxib, diclofenac, indomethacin, meloxicam, and others. To make sure Acular LS is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have a bleeding or blood-clotting disorder, diabetes, arthritis, glaucoma, dry eye syndrome, corneal defects, asthma, or a condition for which you take a blood thinner such as warfarin. It is not known whether this medication will harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant. It is not known whether Acular LS passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Tell your doctor if you are breast-feeding. Do not give this medication to a child younger than 3 years old without medical advice. While using this medication, do no wear any contact lens that has not been approved by your doctor. Do not touch the tip of the eye dropper or place it directly on your eye. A contaminated dropper can infect your eye, which can lead to serious vision problems. Do not use other eye medications unless your doctor tells you to. It is not likely that other medications you take orally or inject will affect this medication. Regardless, tell your doctor about any medications, vitamins, or herbal supplements you are currently taking or have recently taken in order to reduce the risk of any possible interactions.
